Our motor cruisers and power boats range from a 12' ply runabout through to 14' and 16' rugged open fishing craft, light electric powered skiffs, cabin cruisers a canal boat, motor barge and Thames type slipper launches. Also remember that we have a separate page for Steam & Electric launches - all of which may be used with modern diesel or petrol inboard/outboard engines and several of our Dinghies & Dayboats may be used purely for power use.

CATALOGUE OF MOTOR BOAT & STEAM/ELECTRIC LAUNCH DESIGNS on CD

The Motor Boat & Steam/Electric Launch catalogue is now on CD in PDF format - this version of the catalogue is packed with colour photographs of our motor boat and launch designs (more than on our web pages). We have included a section of photographs showing the various different ways in which a plywood motor boat or launch hull can be built. The CD also contains a section on Building a Strip Plank Launch Hull with 33 colour photogaphs showing the various stages - the Felix, Indian Runner, Corn Bunting and Edwardian 26 hulls are used as examples. There is also an easily printable order form and contact details.
Also see our Strip Plank Boat Construction Manual and of Plywood Boat Construction for Larger Craft which go into the methods shown in the photographs on the CD in more detail - it also contains details of deck and superstructure construction. The Fit-Out manual will also be helpful in fitting skegs/stern tubes etc.
